This year edition of the Oracle Day in Zagreb was held under the title "Converge. Connect. Empower the Modern Enterprise". The last part was a "catch" to invite DOK-ING, and have the opportunity to see how a small/medium Croatian enterprise can "survive" the harsh surrounding by constant investment into people and innovation.
The Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanović visited DOK-ING on February 4th, accompanied by Minister of Defence Ante Kotromanović, Dijana Pleština from the Office for Mine Action, Dražen Jakopec from the Croatian Mine Action Center and a number of Government officials. Recognizing DOK-ING as one of the succesfull business stories in Croatia, the Prime Minister discussed the hardships of private entrepreneurship and possbile Government initiatives to help small and medium sized companies to expand and become more competitive on a global scale.
DOK-ING was the host to the delegation of Brazilian authorities and business people from the state of Parana that visited Zagreb for a few days, May 13 to 16. The delegation was headed by mr. Beto Richa, Governor of the state of Parana, and the other members were businessmen interested n investments, trade and other possibilities for Brazilian companies in Croatia.
During the state visit to Croatia, Swedish king Carl XVI Gustaf visited two companies, one of them being DOK-ING on April 17. The delegation led by the King had the opportunity to see the whole range of DOK-ING's products - from the demining systems to firefighting and mining, as well as the electric car LOOX.
Although the protocol set the time for the visit, the questions the King had extended his visit. He was interested in our relationship with Swedec, the number of systems we have sold to Swedish Armed Forces, as well as in our import of Hardox 450 from swedish company SSAB.
Design of DOK-ING's next EV interior has been the challenge for this year's issue of Automotive Design Conference, held April 5-7, in Zagreb. Since the first edition of Auto(R) in 2009, this is the largest automotive design conference in Europe.
Being a member of the Croatian Automotive Cluster, DOK-ING was the host to 20 members of Economic diplomacy stationed in Croatia. The CAC and the Ministry of foreign and European affairs organized a business meeting that should have provided an insight to a number of cluster companies that are renowned as specialized partners and suppliers of automotive parts and assemblies.
